When songwriter Bob Dylan wrote Gotta Serve Somebody, he may have meant the devil or the Lord. But he was really referring to your tenant or someone else living at your property. Besides signing a lease with a tenant and dealing with security deposits, every landlord will have to handle serving notices and during the course of the tenancy. This class will cover just about every kind of notice involved with residential rentals in San Francisco and how to serve the notice. Taught by Clifford Fried, an attorney who has served somebody with notices on many, many occasions.
