An Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) is an independent residential unit added to an existing residential building.  ADUs are also known as Secondary Units, In-Law Units, or Granny Flats.
You're invited to attend a informational event on San Francisco's newly-minted Accessory Dwelling Unit Program!

The first-ever ADU Fair will feature a panel discussion and Q & A featuring Supervisor Aaron Peskin, speakers from the Department of Building Inspection, the Planning Department and other city agencies.

The fair will also feature a number of vendors and lenders that can help you navigate the ADU construction process.  The citywide ADU law presents a unique opportunity for building owners to construct new, additional units in their buildings.  Be sure to put Monday, June 26th on your calendar to learn about this exciting opportunity!
