How to Prepare for Small Claims Court and a Decrease in Serv

Frequently a tenant who feels their maintenance requests are left unaddressed will file a petition with the San Francisco Rent Board to get a reduction in rent. The tenant can even ask for a refund of their entire monthly amount if the point of conflict goes back several years.
This workshop will help you get prepared, understand how the Rent Board process works and what to expect once you arrive at your hearing. This class will also help you organize and prepare everything you need in order to appear in Small Claims Court with your tenant.
Fee: $65 for SFAA members; $85 for non-members. Credit Card payment required for Non-Members.
