Decrease In Service/Petitions Class

Decrease In Service/Petitions Class
How to prepare for a Decrease in Housing Service Petition with the SFRB Your tenant is upset.  You are upset.  The work cannot get completed in a timely fashion and your tenant files a petition with the San Francisco Residential Rent Stabilization and Arbitration Board to get a reduction in rent.  The petition filing lists their entire monthly amount – how can that be?  Your tenant is claiming to have notified you five (5) years prior about the issue that still goes unresolved – how can that be?  You don’t remember receiving any verbal or written notice to that effect.  And now you have to show up to arbitration at the Rent Board? This workshop will help you get prepared, understand how the process works and what to expect once you arrive at the Rent Board and sit across from your disgruntled resident. This class will be taught by Michelle Horneff-Cohen of Property Management Systems.

Fee: $65 for SFAA members; $85 for non-members.

All cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to the class to receive a full refund.
