Pre-stamped return envelopes sent from the SFAA cannot be reused for mail other than return mail to the SFAA. There is a bar code on the bottom of all of the envelopes, and they are automatically sent to our offices by the post office no matter how you address the front. Your mail will not be delivered to its destination. Thanks!
New Acting Head of DBI
The Building Inspection Commission, the policymaking and supervisory body that oversees the San Francisco Department of Building Inspection, convened a Special Commission Meeting and voted unanimously to appoint Vivian L. Day as acting DBI director to replace Isam Hasenin, who resigned to take a private sector position.
Rent Board Fee Set at $29
The San Francisco Rent Board fee (half of which may be passed on to the tenant) has been increased slightly to $29 for the 2008-2009 tax year.
